イングリッシュキャンプの準備☆

Yesterday Jeff had the second English Camp at his school. This time almost twice more students attended the camp. Jeff had to prepare more stuff but it was a success! During the camp, teachers gave out fake money to the students who spoke English a lot, and they were able to spend those money at the store to buy stuff. Jeff made caramel and cookies for the store. Jeff said that it was funny because students did not want to spend money and teachers had to lower the price...but they are fake money!!

昨はイングリッシュキャンプ（英語集中講座）の第二回目でした！今回は前回の２倍程の生徒が参加してくれて、大成功だったみたいです！この日の為にジェフは色々準備してきました〜☆キャンプ中に頑張った生徒や英語をたくさん話した生徒には、その都度「東舞鶴ダラー」というお金をあげて、キャンプの最後にそのお金を使って好きな物を購入できたのですが、皆にせもののお金なのに出し惜しみしてたみたいです（笑）。お店で売るキャラメルやクッキーもジェフが作りました☆

While we were making caramel and cookies in the kitchen, our baby was being very good... it was almost too quiet... so we peeked the room, and we found him in the basket. This is his favorite place now!

台所で忙しくキャンプの準備をしている間、とってもお利口にしていてくれた赤ちゃん。なにやらごそごそしているな〜と思って覗いてみると...

最近のお気に入りの場所みたいです（笑）おかげで籠はぼろぼろになってきました〜。

お別れ会

We are going to move to Kyoto city next month for Jeff's work. He told his ESS students about it last week, and they planned a surprise farewell party for him. He still has more than a month before he moves, but because of his business trips and students' tests, there is not many chances for them to get together as ESS club so they threw a party yesterday. I guess it was supposed to be a surprise party... but they were talking about the party while Jeff was right next to them thinking he wouldn't understand any Japanese. They got presents for even me and our baby! That was a surprise!

ジェフのお仕事の関係で、来月京都市内に引っ越すことになりました。まだ引っ越しまで１ヶ月ちょっとあるけれど、それまでに出張やら期末テストやらでESSの生徒達と会う機会もあまりないので、昨日お別れ会をしてくれたそうです。一応サプライズパーティーだったそうですが、生徒達はジェフが全く日本語が分からないと思っているのか、ジェフの側でこそこそと計画を立ててくれていたみたいです（笑）。私と赤ちゃんにまでプレゼントを用意してくれていました！サプライズでした！嬉しい〜☆
