赤ちゃんの成長ってあっと言う間...

Until a few days ago, he couldn't go to sleep without being held. Now he sometimes falls asleep when he gets tired playing.

ちょっと前までは、眠くなるとぐずって、抱っこしないと寝付いてくれなかったのですが、最近寝返りができるようになってから、遊び疲れたらそのまま寝てしまうこともたまに。

He is doing good eating baby food too. He has tried apple, pumpkin, banana, potatoes and carrots besides rice porridge. He hated a piece of white fish though...

離乳食も順調に進んでいて、最近はお粥の他に、リンゴ、かぼちゃ、バナナ、じゃがいも、人参も食べてくれます。でも白身魚はかなり嫌やったみたい...

金木犀

When we were doing laundry this morning, Jeff said "Did you know that outside smells different lately? It smells like laundry detergent." It is the smell of Kinmokusei, I guess it is called Osmanthus Fragrans.

今朝洗濯物を干していた時のこと。ジェフが思い出したように、「そういえば、最近外の匂いが違うの気付いてた！？洗濯洗剤の匂いがするの！」あれは金木犀だよ〜。

Even though you can't see Kinmokusei trees, the wind carries the smell, so you can smell it everywhere around this time in fall.

最近お散歩してると、金木犀の木は見えないんやけど、どこを歩いていても風にのって金木犀の匂いがと〜っても良い匂い♡
