海上自衛隊の護衛艦

Yesterday, we were planning to see one of my friends and her family from Utah because she is back in Japan now, but her daughter was sick so we couldn't see them. So we decided to go picnic at the park by our house. It is right in front of the ocean, and we saw Jeff's high school boat club practicing there.

昨日は、ユタのお友達がちょうど日本に帰って来ているので会う予定で、うちの赤ちゃんよりちょうど２ヶ月後に産まれた男の子に初めて会うのも楽しみにしていたのですが、３歳になる上の子が風邪をひいてしまったので会えなくなってしまいました。予定を変更して、お家の近くの公園でお弁当を食べる事にしました。海の側の公園なのですが、東舞鶴高校のボート部の生徒達が練習していました。

We stopped at Maizuru sightseeing and business commerce center to see fish. When we came here last time, our baby was only able to walk by holding something, but today he was walking around by himself:)

公園の側の、舞鶴観光商工所にある小さい水族館にもまた寄ってみました。この間来た時はまだつたい歩きができるようになったばかりだったけれど、今日は一人で歩き回っていました。

He ate some rice balls and eggs.

赤ちゃんもおにぎりと卵焼きを食べました〜☆

After lunch, we walked to Maizuru Self Defence Force. Sometimes you can go on the ship and see inside, but we were only able to see them from outside yesterday. Our baby was sleeping whole time...

その後はちょっと歩いて、舞鶴の海上自衛隊総監部へ行って来ました。護衛艦の中を見学できる時もあるみたいですが、昨日は岸壁からだけの見学でした。全体がグレーの巨大な護衛艦をs傍で見るのはすごい迫力でした。残念ながら赤ちゃんは見学中ず〜っとお昼寝してましたが。。。
