平野神社 万灯祭

Last night, we went to Hirano Shrine to see the light up of 800 lanterns. Hirano Shrine is about 20 min. walk from our house.

昨日の夜は、ジェフがお仕事から帰って来てから、平野神社の万灯祭へ行って来ました。お家から歩いて２０分くらいです。８００の灯明が点灯されていました。

There also were performances of Noh (classical Japanese musical drama), Shigin (a form of Japanese poetry usually chanted), folk music, and Nihon Buyo (traditional Japanese performing art).

拝殿では、能、詩吟、舞楽、民謡、日本舞踊なども披露されていました。
