ジェフの夏休み２日目。今日は朝から良いお天気でした☆せっかく晴れてるので、ちょっと足を延ばして宇治までいってみることにしました。宇治駅で降りて、宇治橋通り商店街を歩いていると、良いにおいが〜。
Eel! We wanted to eat them, but we had brought lunch today.
鰻でした！！食べたかったけど、今日はお弁当を持って来てたので...。

They were roasting tea. Fresh tea smelled really good.
平等院表参道を歩いていると、お茶のすごく良い香りがしました。
We first sat down by Uji River and ate lunch.
平等院に着くと、入り口に列ができていました。お昼過ぎだったので、先にお弁当を食べることにして、川辺へ行きました。
Our baby dropped his favorite tamagoyaki (egg) :(... but pigeons came to eat it. They tried to eat too fast and a piece of egg got on one of pigeons back.
赤ちゃん、大好きな卵焼きを落としてしまいました〜。でもハトが食べてくれたのだけど、ハトも急いでつつきすぎて、背中に卵焼きのってます（笑）。
After lunch, we went to Uji shrine and Ujigami shrine.
お弁当の後は、朝霧橋を渡って宇治神社と宇治上神社へ。
Then we went to Byodoin. There were a long line at the ticket booth but we did not have to wait that long. Byodoin Temple was established in 1052. The image of this temple is printed on 10yen coin (like a dime).
それから平等院へ。まだまだ入り口の列はありましたが、５分位で入れました。
帰りの駅で見たポスト☆
We saw some people fishing by Uji River. Jeff wants to go back there in fall for fishing!
今日はかなり暑かったけど、川辺は涼しかったです☆宇治川で釣りをしている人もいたので、また秋頃に、ジェフは釣り竿を持って行きたいみたいです。
